Bobbin Head Cycle Classic | Sun 24 March 2024
‘The Bobbo’ takes riders through the beautiful National Park at Bobbin Head and raises hundreds of thousands for charity – this year almost $80,000 was achieved with part of those funds going to Mentoring Men to support men in their life journey.
2024 promises to be bigger and better than ever! With over 2,000 riders expected to participate, the Bobbo will require hundreds of marshals along the route, for just a few hours each. We would love to to join us and volunteer at this very worthwhile event.
About 500 people are involved in various roles on or before the day – that’s about 1 volunteer for every 6 riders! Here is where we need your help:
- Course Marshalls: Direct riders out on the course (not traffic).
- Drink Stops: We need people at the drink stops to hand-out drinks and snacks and to cheer the riders on!
- Start Village: Help is needed to set-up and man the Mentoring Men stall.
There is also an information session on the evening of Tuesday 12th March for volunteers to get all the info they need.
Anyone is welcome! So, you can bring along your friends or family to volunteer with you on the day.
