Let’s kick off October strong by looking after our mental health with a walk and a chat.
It doesn’t matter where you are in Australia, all you need is your phone (with zoom enabled) and a comfy pair of shoes.
Getting outdoors for a daily walk is an instant and easy way to lift your mood. When we think about exercise, we tend to look at the results we can see or measure. Yet walking for our mental health is just as important.
Being active lowers stress levels, helps you sleep better and also works to raise your self esteem. It can also aid in preventing mental health problems, such as anxiety or depression.
Best of all, walking is free.

How it works:
At 2pm, click on the zoom link below. We’ll be waiting for you on the other end of the zoom. For the next 30 minutes whilst you walk we can all chat together, sharing stories, jokes, or just listening. Whatever you find more comfortable. Either was you’ll be exercising while getting a boost of social wellness.
